常年期第九主日 天主聖三節
福音：若3:16-18

今天是常年期第九主日。教會在今天慶祝天主聖三節。取自聖若望福音的經文給我們展示聖史若望對耶穌和尼苛德摩之間關於新生的一番感想。

首先，聖史給我們展示天主聖父和天主聖子的關係。他說：天主如此愛了世界，祂賜下自己的獨生子，好使所有相信祂的人，不致喪亡，反而獲得永生。因為天主派遣自己的兒子來到世上，不是要定世界的罪，而是要使世界藉著祂而得救。（參看：若3:16-17）這是在說：耶穌基督所說的天主，與法利賽人和撒杜賽人所理解的天主完全不同。因為法利賽人認為的天主是一個嚴厲非凡的天主，撒杜賽人認為的天主是一個喜愛祭品的天主，耶穌展現出來的是天主，是一個與人親近的天主，祂從不懲罰世人，祂醫治世人的疾病，甚至在我們還沒有向祂尋求和好之前，就已經藉著基督與我們修好。

接著，聖史描述了相信耶穌基督，接受耶穌基督所說的天主的世界的結局。他說：相信祂的人，不會受到審判，但是，那些不相信祂的人，已經受到了審判，因為他不相信天主獨生子的名字。（參看：若3:18）這是對我們發出的邀請。聖史若望邀請我們借此反思：我們是真正相信天主聖言的人，還是表面相信，內心依然拒絕接納祂的人？我們相信天主的動機是什麼？是什麼促使我們相信祂的呢？是金錢嗎？是物質嗎？是屬於這個終將消逝的世界上的可朽之物嗎？如果我們不能正確回答我們相信天主聖言的動機和意圖，我們就不是那個真正相信天主聖言的人，我們的行為舉止，就不是按照天主聖神的指引做出的。我們喜愛的是什麼？是金錢嗎？是名望嗎？是權勢嗎？如果我們喜愛的是這些可朽之物，那麼，我們就沒有樹立正確的價值觀。這樣的價值觀，會使我們遠離天主的世界，繼續生活在黑暗的世界。

今天，教會慶祝天主聖三節，正是要求我們重新思考我們與天主聖三的關係，重新省思我們是否真正屬於基督，是否真正接受耶穌基督的聖言，是否真正願意接受那來到世上，普照世人的真光，行為舉止，不再如同黑暗之子，而是如同光明之子，始終活出天主真兒女的模樣，好使那普照世人，救贖世人的真光，能惠及更多的人。

天主，我們的父，祢派遣真理的聖言和聖化之神來到世上，使人類知道祢奧妙的奧秘。求祢使我們藉著宣認真正的信仰，承認永遠光榮的天主聖三，朝拜共融，全能，威嚴的天主聖三。藉著祢的子，我們的主耶穌基督，祢和祂及聖神，是天主，永生永王。亞孟。

Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time — The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity
Gospel: John 3:16-18

Today is the Ninth Sunday in Ordinary Time. On this day, the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. The passage from the Gospel of John presents us with the Evangelist’s reflection on the dialogue between Jesus and Nicodemus concerning new birth.

First, the Evangelist reveals to us the relationship between God the Father and God the Son. He states: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, so that everyone who believes in Him might not perish but might have eternal life.” (cf. Jn 3:16-17). This signifies that the God proclaimed by Jesus Christ is wholly different from the God understood by the Pharisees and Sadducees. The Pharisees perceived God as an exacting judge; the Sadducees viewed God as One who delights merely in sacrifices. But the God revealed by Jesus is a God who draws near to humanity. He does not condemn the world; rather, He heals its infirmities. Indeed, even before we sought reconciliation, He reconciled us to Himself through Christ.

Subsequently, the Evangelist describes the destiny of the world that believes in Jesus Christ and accepts the God proclaimed by Him. He says: “Whoever believes in Him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God.” (cf. Jn 3:18). This serves as an invitation for us to reflect: Are we truly believers in the Word of God, or are we merely superficial believers who inwardly reject Him? What is the motive of our faith? Is it wealth? Is it material gain? Is it the pursuit of perishable things in this passing world? If we cannot rightly discern the intention behind our faith, we are not true believers. Our conduct will not be guided by the Holy Spirit. What do we cherish? Is it money, fame, or power? If these perishable things are our delight, we have not established a correct hierarchy of values. Such a disposition distances us from the life of God and leaves us dwelling in darkness.

Today, as the Church celebrates the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, we are called to reconsider our relationship with the Triune God. We must examine whether we truly belong to Christ, whether we genuinely accept His Word, and whether we are willing to receive the True Light that enlightens every man. May our conduct no longer resemble that of children of darkness, but rather that of children of light, living always as true sons and daughters of God. Thus, may the True Light that redeems the world shine forth upon ever more souls.

God our Father, who by sending into the world the Word of truth and the Spirit of sanctification made known to the human race your wondrous mystery, grant us, we pray, that in professing the true faith, we may acknowledge the Trinity of eternal glory and adore your Unity, powerful in majesty. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
