常年期第十五主日
福音：玛13:1-23

今天是常年期第十五主日。取自圣玛窦福音的经文给我们讲述了撒种者的比喻，以及门徒在听了耶稣说了这个比喻以后，他们与耶稣之间的对话。我愿意借此机会，提供一些反思。

我们也许会认为，今天耶稣向祂的门徒讲论的，无非是一个农人外出播种，以及那些种子的不同结局。假如我们持有这样的思想，我们便与那些尚未认识基督的人一样，虽然听了天主的圣言，但却不明了天主圣意的意义。我们便是那“迟钝的百姓，听是听，但不了解，看是看，却不明白。”（参看：依6:9.10；玛13:14-15）因为我们只关注那可朽坏的肉身感兴趣的，拒绝那些高深莫测的言论，甚至因难以理解天主的圣言，选择忽略天主的圣言，以及天主在我们生命中，以祂的无限慈爱为我们所作的一切。

事实上，种子是天主的圣言。天主圣言在起初就与天主同在。（若1:2）几时我们出离母胎，来到这个世界时，天主便透过“藉着祂，并由祂造成的万物”（参看：若1:3）不断向我们揭示天国的奥秘。祂更以祂的无限慈悲，藉着同为受造物我们的父母，以及家中的长辈；学校的同学和老师；单位的同事和上司；等等，继续向我们揭示天国的奥秘，并以他们辛勤的汗水，灌溉天主播种在我们心中的种子，使之发芽滋长。

亲爱的主内！几时我们在生活中聆听他们教导我们的一切时，我们便如同那些来到耶稣跟前的群众那样，聆听耶稣向我们宣讲天国的奥秘；几时我们在生活中经验天主透过那些与我们来往的人在我们身上所做的一切时，我们就能藉着理解天主圣言蕴含的天国真谛。当我们来到圣堂，从与圣伯多禄宗徒继承人共融的牧者手中领受基督的圣体圣血时，我们的心神就与耶稣基督的圣心相通，如果我们的行为举止，日渐与耶稣基督契合，我们就会结出属天主圣神的常存果实。

天主，祢以真理之光，照耀迷途之人，引他们重返正途；求祢赐予所有奉基督之名而受洗的人恩宠，使他们能拒绝一切与基督之名相悖的事，并为弘扬此名的光荣，勉力践行相称之事。藉着祢的子，我们的主耶稣基督，祢和祂及圣神，是天主，永生永王。亚孟。

Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Gospel: Matthew 13:1-23

Today is the Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time. The passage from the Gospel of Saint Matthew presents us with the Parable of the Sower and the subsequent dialogue between the disciples and Jesus after hearing this parable. I wish to offer some reflections on this occasion.

One might think that in speaking to His disciples today, Jesus is merely describing a farmer going out to sow seed and the varied fates of those seeds. Yet, if we hold such a view, we remain like those who do not yet know Christ: though we hear the Word of God, we fail to grasp the meaning of the divine will. We become that “dull-hearted people, who hear but do not understand, and see but do not perceive” (cf. Isa 6:9-10; Matt 13:14-15). For we focus only on what appeals to our corruptible flesh, rejecting what seems unfathomable, and even choosing to ignore the Word of God—and all that God, in His infinite mercy, accomplishes within our lives—precisely because His Word is difficult to comprehend.

In truth, the seed is the Word of God. The Word of God was with God in the beginning (John 1:2). From the moment we left our mother’s womb and entered this world, God has ceaselessly revealed to us the mysteries of the Kingdom through “all things that were made through Him and by Him” (cf. John 1:3). Moreover, in His boundless compassion, He continues to disclose these mysteries to us through our fellow creatures: our parents and elders; our classmates and teachers; our colleagues and superiors. Through their toil and sweat, He waters the seed sown in our hearts, nurturing its growth.

Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ! Whenever we heed the lessons taught by those around us in daily life, we are like the crowds who approached Jesus to listen to Him proclaim the mysteries of the Kingdom. Whenever we experience what God accomplishes within us through those with whom we interact, we come to understand the heavenly truth contained in the Word of God. When we come to the church and receive the Body and Blood of Christ from the hands of the pastor in communion with the Successor of Peter, our spirit is united with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ. If our conduct gradually conforms to His, we shall bear lasting fruit of the Holy Spirit.

O God, who show the light of your truth to those who go astray, so that they may return to the right path, give all who for the faith they profess are accounted Christians the grace to reject whatever is contrary to the name of Christ and to strive after all that does it honour. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, for ever and ever.
