福音：路18:35-43
相信并跟随耶稣

在今天的福音经文中，我们找到了一个瞎子的故事，耶稣走向耶路撒冷，完全自己牺牲的途中，那个瞎子遇到了耶稣。显然，这段旅途所代表的就是耶稣完成了自己的使命。这条道路提醒我们：要彻底改变我们的信仰，全心全意追随那召叫我们的耶稣。

这个坐在路边的瞎子，深感绝望。他机能上的失明预表了我们中间的许多人心神失明，这使得我们在生活中无法清楚看到耶稣。但是，耶稣路过的时候，那个瞎子满怀非凡的信德，高声喊说：“达味之子耶稣，可怜我吧！”他既不寻求神迹，也不寻求医治；他只是大声呼喊，宣认耶稣是自己唯一希望的源泉。

尽管群众试图让他安静下来，他依旧继续大声呼喊。耶稣停下，叫他前来。那人一看见，就跟随耶稣，走向十字苦路。这人的身体机能得到医治，这表明他的信德发生了深刻转变，鼓励我们敞开心扉，追随基督，准备好放弃先入为主的观点，欣然接纳天主为我们展开的道路。

我们如同这个盲人，我们蒙召舍掉我们对信仰预设的任何条件，并且要“一路跟随耶稣”，完全相信祂的引导。当我们走向我们自己的“耶路撒冷”，愿我们能超越我们的局限，听到穷人的呐喊，接纳一个能改变我们生活和周遭世界的信仰。

对那些在我周边的急难之人的呼声，我是如何回应的呢？让我们跟随耶稣，容许我们的信德成为他人变革，勇气，在生活中得到怜悯的源泉。

Luke 18: 35-43

Faith and Following Jesus

In today’s Gospel, we find the story of a blind man who meets Jesus on His journey to Jerusalem as Jesus approaches His ultimate sacrifice. This journey signifies the concluding phrases of Jesus’s mission. Along this path, we are reminded of faith’s transformative power and the call to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

The blind man, seated by the roadside, feels a deep desperation. His physical blindness symbolises the spiritual blindness that many of us face at times, preventing us from clearly seeing Jesus amid life’s difficulties. Yet, upon hearing that Jesus is passing through, he cries out with remarkable faith: “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” He neither demands miracles nor healing; he merely calls out, acknowledging that Jesus represents his sole source of hope.

Despite the crowd’s attempts to quiet him, he continues to call out. Jesus pauses and calls him forward. Once the man receives his sight, he follows Jesus on the journey toward the cross. This man’s physical healing symbolizes a deeper faith transformation, encouraging each of us to follow Jesus with open hearts, ready to let go of our preconceived notions and embrace the path God has laid out for us.

Like the blind man, we are called to let go of any conditions we place on our faith and instead to “follow Jesus along the way,” trusting fully in His guidance. As we journey toward our own “Jerusalem,” may we see beyond our limitations, hear the cries of the poor, and embrace a faith that transforms our lives and the world around us.

How do I respond to the cries of those in need around me? Let us walk alongside Jesus, allowing our faith to be a source of transformation, courage, and compassion in the lives of others.

抱有期待的生活

在今天的福音經文中，耶穌呼籲我們立刻越過當前的挑戰，在生活的試探中感受天主的計畫和臨在。世局的劇變生動形象的說明了天主的恩許和邀請。這恩許就是：我們經歷的每一次變革，天主每一次邀請我們尋獲目標和希望，即使是那最黑暗的時刻，天主都與我們同在。生活中的苦辛好似產痛一樣，可能會給我們帶來不適，但是，它會立即引出一個新的事實 ——不斷接近天主。

耶穌邀請我們越過那些能使我們的視線變得模糊的分心和困難。在無花果樹的教導中，我們看到自然迴圈的智慧。正如樹葉發芽預示著夏天的到來，天主的恩典和變革也在我們的生活中悄然清晰展開。如果我們留心，受造物就會是我們的老師，它會幫助我們在每一次變化，每個季節中分辨天主慈愛的手。

這段福音經文提醒我們：什麼才是真正永存的：“天和地都要消逝，但是，我的話總不會消逝。”這個永恆的真理的基礎就是：短暫一生中的不斷追求。我們要把自己錨定在天主聖言中，確保我們相信天主的恩許，堅信我們不論經受怎樣的試探，都會安然無恙。

天主再來的時機，仍然是一個奧秘，福音督促我們放棄猜測，相信祂的時機。耶穌呼籲我們帶著期待和希望生活，把我們的生活建基在祂永存的教導之上，我們要接受的，不是一個被動等著我們接受的信仰，而是一個深奧，滿懷信德的信仰。

在這我們期待天主的國完全實現的日子，願我們有超過苦難的遠見，相信天主的時機，把我們自己根植於祂永存的聖言。這段福音經文邀請我們：舉目生活，相信天主的愛和恩許定會引導我們進入新的天國本像。

Thirty-third Sunday in Ordinary Time
Mark 13: 24-32

Living in Expectant Hope

In today’s Gospel, Jesus calls us to look beyond immediate challenges and perceive God’s presence and plan within life’s trials. The vivid imagery of cosmic upheaval speaks to both a promise and an invitation. It’s a promise that God is with us through every transformation and an invitation to find purpose and hope even in the darkest moments. Like labour pains, life’s struggles may bring discomfort, yet they lead to a new reality—a renewed closeness to God.

Jesus invites us to rise above the distractions and difficulties that can cloud our view. In the lesson of the fig tree, we see the wisdom of nature’s cycles. Just as the sprouting of leaves announces the coming of summer, so too does God’s grace and transformation unfold quietly yet unmistakably in our lives. If we are attentive, creation becomes a teacher, helping us discern God’s loving hand in every change, every season.

The Gospel also reminds us of what is truly lasting. “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” This eternal truth stands as a foundation amid life’s fleeting pursuits. Anchoring ourselves in God’s Word ensures that, no matter the trials, we remain secure in His promises.

The timing of God’s ultimate return remains a mystery, urging us to let go of speculation and instead trust in His timing. Jesus calls us to live with expectant hope, building our lives on His eternal teachings and embracing a faith that waits, not passively but with a deep, joyful anticipation.

As we await the fullness of God’s Kingdom, may we see beyond tribulation, trust in God’s timing, and root ourselves in His everlasting Word. This Gospel invites us to live with our gaze lifted, confident that God’s love and promises will guide us into a new, heavenly reality.

祈禱使我們與天主合拍！

在今天的福音經文 中，耶穌藉著堅持不懈的寡婦和不義判官的比喻表明：我們的祈禱生活需要忠信和信賴，即使延遲得到答案或不清晰。耶穌向我們保證：天主永遠公義，永遠慈愛，俯聽祂百姓的祈禱。這段訊息鼓勵我們：不要灰心，不論我們等了多久，不論我們的處境有多困難。

正如福音經文強調的那樣：在耶穌一生中，祈禱佔據核心地位。路加把耶穌描述成一個不斷歸向天主的人，不論是孤獨中，還是在做出決定，感激或是痛苦的時刻。這提醒我們：祈禱不只是為了祈求，也是為了能與天主保持溝通，容許祂的臨在，塑造我們的行為和思想。

這個比喻提醒我們：祈禱的效能，並非在於外在的結果，而是在於我們與天主的旨意保持合拍，對祂的節奏保持開放。我們不常能立刻看到答案， 祈禱卻使我們擁有信德和希望，相信天主在工作，祂甚至以我們看不到的方式，繼續工作。因此，祈禱並不不是求索或是領受，更多的是在我們生活中的每時每刻都能藉著祈禱，覺察到天主的愛。

這個教導邀請我們以堅忍，堅毅和憐憫之情看待人和處境。只要我們不斷祈禱，我們保持愛的能力就不斷成長，如同寡婦孜孜不倦地尋求公道一樣。耶穌的榜樣是在告訴我們：真正的祈禱會使我們發生改變，能使我們與天主，並與他人一起，更和諧地生活。

Prayer aligns us with God’s timing!

In today’s Gospel, Jesus illustrates, through the parable of the persistent widow and the unjust judge, that our prayer life requires faithfulness and trust, even when answers are delayed or unclear. Jesus assures us that God, who is infinitely just and loving, hears the cries of His people. This message encourages us not to lose heart, no matter how long we wait or how difficult our circumstances are.

Luke’s Gospel emphasises the centrality of prayer in Jesus’ life. Luke presents Jesus as someone constantly turning to God, whether in solitude or in moments of decision, gratitude, or agony. This is a reminder that prayer is not only about asking for things but about staying in communion with God, allowing His presence to shape our actions and thoughts.

The parable reminds us that the power of prayer is not in external results but in our alignment with God’s will and our openness to His timing. We may not always see immediate answers, but prayer keeps us grounded in faith and hope, trusting that God is working, even in unseen ways. Prayer, then, becomes less about asking and receiving and more about living in awareness of God’s loving presence in every moment of our lives.

This teaching challenges us to see people and situations through a lens of patience, resilience, and compassion. As we persist in prayer, we grow in our ability to persevere in love, just as the widow persevered in her pursuit of justice. Jesus’ example shows us that real prayer transforms us, enabling us to live in deeper harmony with God and each other.

在今天的福音經文中，耶穌繼續講述末世和天國的來臨。祂呼籲自己的追隨者預備好自己，警醒且留心，因為這個時刻為他們而言， 既未知，他們也無法掌握那個時刻。耶穌並沒有關注這一時刻何時來到，而是在強調在內心和心神上做好準備的重要性，以祂的聖言作為基礎，在生活中活出這些聖言。福音經文提醒我們：我們在每天的生活中，不應例行公事，不應讓消費主義或分心，使我們對與天主的關係麻木不仁。

耶穌在祂的教導中，祂把我們的生活比作諾厄和羅特生活的日子，那時候，百姓把全部精力投入到他們日常的生活中，以致他們輕看了天主的存在，需要對天主作出回應。我們的情況與諾厄和羅特生活的時代相似，如果我們不保持警醒，就有可能錯過天主的召叫。我們對天主的召叫作出回應，不應系於對“末日”感到恐懼或對其進行揣測，而是要使這個回應有助於我們有目的的生活，把永生牢記於心。

耶穌還教導說：過度依戀塵世的生活， 有損於我們的靈性生活。然而，真正的生活，在於慷慨和無私。“誰若舍掉他們的生命，必能救得性命。”我們蒙召相信天主，以敞開的心扉生活，關心他人，相信天主許下的永存之國。

那時候，耶穌所說的“一個被接去，另一個被留下”，其意涵是一種召叫，祂要求我們每天培養與天主的關係，不要受到外界的影響或世俗的干擾。靈性上的死亡會招致審判，好似禿鷲聚在亡者周圍一樣。我們必須對我們的時代作出反思，我們必須問問自己：我們是否做好準備，超越這些干擾，為天主的國，做好了準備。
