诸圣婴孩殉道（庆日）
福音：玛2:13-18
信赖和得救之旅

贤士的离开显然是玛窦福音的转折点，把耶稣的诞生同时和以色列的历史以及正在展开的救赎工程联系起来。正如旧约中前往埃及的古圣若瑟，他蒙召保护透过危险的躲避方式进到埃及的家人，按照天主的启迪引导他们。这样的联结提醒我们：即使在危险和不确定的时刻，天主的保护依然有效。

黑落德对无辜婴孩的屠杀揭示了人类贪婪的黑暗和对失去权利的恐惧。然而，天主的救赎计划是永恒的。忠信顺从的若瑟，成了我们的榜样，显示了由听从天主，勇敢行事而来的智慧。

圣家的困境在当今世界引起了深刻的共鸣。无数家庭面临流离失所，遭受迫害和暴力。那些难民，被边缘化的儿童，被人剥削的受害者，与辣黑耳为孩子们痛哭的哭声相呼应。他们的苦难邀请我们观看那临现于弱势群体内的基督，邀请我们以怜悯和公道作出回应。

圣诞节和复活节在这个故事中交汇。避往埃及提醒我们：降生成人的圣言与十字架密不可分。耶稣出生在一个痛苦的世界，祂要藉着自己的复活改变这个世界。天主对这个世界上的恶者的回应并不遥远；祂是厄玛努尔 ——与我们同在的天主 —— 在人类每次遭受的试探中与人类同行。

上主，求祢敞开我们的心扉，使我们在受苦的人身上认出祢。请帮助我们追随圣若瑟的榜样，以信德和勇气回应祢的召叫。愿我们所做的一切带给他人希望，在一个渴望救赎的世界中反映祢的爱。亚孟。

Feast of the Holy Innocents
Matthew 2: 13-18
A Journey of Trust and Salvation

The departure of the Magi marks a turning point in Matthew’s Gospel, connecting the birth of Jesus to both the history of Israel and the unfolding story of salvation. Like Joseph of the Old Testament, who journeyed to Egypt, St. Joseph is called to protect his family through a perilous flight into Egypt, guided by divine revelation. This connection reminds us that God’s providence is active even in times of danger and uncertainty.

Herod’s massacre of the innocents unveils the darkness of human greed and fear of losing power. However, God’s plan for salvation endures. Joseph’s faithful obedience becomes a model for us, demonstrating the wisdom that comes from listening to God and acting with courage.

The plight of the Holy Family resonates deeply in today’s world, where countless families face displacement, persecution, and violence. Refugees, marginalised children, and victims of exploitation echo the cries of Rachel weeping for her children. Their suffering challenges us to see the presence of Christ in the vulnerable and to respond with compassion and justice.

Christmas and Easter converge in this narrative. The flight into Egypt reminds us that the Incarnation is not separate from the Cross. Jesus is born into a world of suffering to transform it through His Resurrection. God’s answer to the evil in the world is not distant; it is Emmanuel—God with us—walking with humanity in every trial.

Lord, open my heart to recognise You in those who suffer. Help me follow St. Joseph’s example, responding to Your call with faith and courage. May my actions bring hope to others and reflect Your love in a world yearning for redemption. Amen.

成為耶穌所愛的門徒

今天的福音經文提供了關於耶穌所愛門徒的默想，通常認為是若望宗徒。雖然若望福音從未明確指出他的名字，但是，這位耶穌所愛的門徒代表了一個更深的實體，圍繞在耶穌身邊之人所形成的新的信仰團體。

在十字架下，我們把他看作一個強有力的象徵：耶穌所愛的門徒和耶穌的母親瑪利亞站在一起。瑪利亞所代表的是舊約，耶穌所愛的門徒所代表的是新約的團體。耶穌把瑪利亞託付給祂所愛的門徒，把祂所愛的門徒託付給祂的母親，就是在新約和舊約之間架起橋樑，使信仰和生活共融。這樣的共融提醒我們：我們不能把天主在舊約中的永久恩許與基督的圓滿分開。

在復活的敘述中，耶穌所愛的門徒來到空墳的時候，他一看到就相信了。他注意到耶穌的新奇臨現和德能。隨後，在捕魚的神跡中，耶穌所愛的門徒認出了主，於是宣認：“是主！”（參看：若21:7）他的信仰激勵伯多祿成長，最終使他成為耶穌所愛的門徒。

今天，我們蒙召成為耶穌所愛的門徒 —— 以愛的眼光看待信仰之人。我們受邀在一個經常分裂，並在每日生活中，藉著從聖言和聖事中汲取的力量，整合一切。這位耶穌所愛門徒的旅程激勵我們與基督建立深厚的個人關係，通過我們的見證，帶領他人走向祂。

我是否以耶穌所愛門徒的眼光認出臨現在我每日生活中的天主？
在當今世界，我怎樣才能把我的信仰和我的行動結合在一起？

Feast of St. John the Apostle, Evangelist
John 20: 2-8
Becoming Beloved Disciples Today

Today’s Gospel offers a meditation on the Beloved Disciple, often identified as the apostle John. While the Gospel of John never explicitly names him, the Beloved Disciple represents a deeper reality—the new community of faith formed around Jesus.
At the foot of the Cross, we see him as a powerful symbol: the Beloved Disciple standing with Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Mary represents the Old Covenant, and the Beloved Disciple signifies the New Covenant community. When Jesus entrusts Mary and the Beloved Disciple to each other, He bridges the Old and New, uniting faith and life. This unity reminds us that we cannot separate God’s enduring promises in the Old Testament from the fulfilment in Christ.
In the Resurrection account, the Beloved Disciple sees and believes upon reaching the empty tomb. He perceives the presence of Jesus’ novelty and power. Later, during the miraculous catch of fish, the Beloved Disciple recognises the Lord and declares, “It is the Lord!” (John 21:7). His faith inspires Peter to grow, ultimately transforming him into a Beloved Disciple.
Today, we are called to be Beloved Disciples—people of faith who see with eyes of love. Amid a world that often divides faith and daily life, we are invited to integrate these fully, drawing strength from the Word and Sacraments. The Beloved Disciple’s journey inspires us to cultivate a deep, personal relationship with Christ and to lead others to Him through our witness.

有些人認為：歡慶耶穌聖誕以後，立刻舉行紀念殉道聖人的慶日是非比尋常的。殉道者聖斯德望的慶日有助於我們理解耶誕節的意義。耶穌使自己變得軟弱，聖斯德望也是如此。他坦然接受了痛苦和死亡。耶穌自祂受孕和出生的時候開始，就註定要藉著自己在十字架上的聖死，為世界贏得救贖。

耶穌對自己門徒的囑託，就是要面臨充滿各種各樣考驗的使命，祂使用的隱喻至今仍能引起共鳴：狼群中的羊，機警的蛇和鴿子。這些圖像突顯了信德的道路上存在的各種挑戰，邀請我們在一個經常抵制福音的世界體現出智慧和純真。

今天，耶穌警示的危險 —— 迫害，背叛，分裂 —— 以現代的形態持續存在。社會疏離，意識形態衝突，家庭緊張局勢，這一切都會使我們對生活和宣講福音作出的承諾經受考驗。然而，這些挑戰正是我們作證的機會，吸引他人接受基督的愛。在這個瞬間，聖父的聖神堅固了我們，提供給我們智慧，明示我們要持之以恆。

耶穌呼籲我們“如同蛇一樣賢明，如同鴿子一樣純真”，以此教導我們在分辨和信賴之間取得平衡。雖然我們必須對敵意保持警惕，然而，我們蒙召傳播天主的愛。這樣的平衡在化對抗為傳福音的契機至關重要。

Feast of St. Stephen, the First Martyr
Matthew 10: 16-23
Trusting in God Amidst Challenges

Some may consider it unusual that a martyr’s feast occurs right after the joyful celebration of the birth of Jesus. The feast of St. Stephen’s martyrdom helps to put the meaning of Christmas into perspective for us. Jesus made himself vulnerable as was St. Stephen. He opened himself to the possibility of suffering and death. From the time of his conception and birth, Jesus was destined to win the salvation of the world through his death on the cross.

Jesus commissions His disciples to face a mission filled with trials, using metaphors that resonate even today: sheep among wolves, prudent serpents, and doves. These images highlight the challenging path of faith, calling us to embody both wisdom and innocence as we engage a world often resistant to the Gospel.

Today, the dangers Jesus warned about—persecution, betrayal, and division—persist in modern forms. Social alienation, ideological conflicts, and family tensions can test our commitment to living and proclaiming the Gospel. Yet, these challenges are opportunities for witness, drawing others to Christ’s love. In such moments, the Spirit of the Father strengthens us, providing wisdom and clarity to persevere.

Jesus’ call to “be wise as serpents and innocent as doves” teaches us to balance discernment with trust. While we must remain alert to hostility, we are also called to radiate the love of the Lord. This balance is essential in transforming opposition into opportunities for evangelisation.

The divisions Jesus describes, even within families, echo the struggles that many of us face today. These painful moments challenge us to place Christ above all. How can we reflect wisdom and innocence in our interactions today? Do we rely on the Spirit’s guidance in challenging times?

聖若望福音的序言揭開了聖言成了血肉的奧跡，天主的真光進入世界。自造世的敘述直到聖言降生成人的敘述，真光所象徵的是天主的啟示，天主的恩典和愛。舊約藉著亞巴郎和梅瑟這樣的人物見證了真光的啟迪，為人類在耶穌基督內得以成全，做好準備。洗者若翰是這真光的最後一個前驅，他指出真光就是體現恩典和真理者。

聖言在起初就與聖父同在，天主的愛，藉著耶穌的位格達至圓滿。正如托拉為以色列人而言是天主的智慧和生命，同樣，聖言成了血肉，住在我們中間，使天主的光榮成了可見的和有形的。這就是最終的顯現：天主的光榮，不再受聖殿或約板的限制，而是在基督軟弱的人性中顯示出來。

今天，教會的使命是世界上為真光作證，尤其要在黑暗中給這真光作證。教宗方濟各強調陪伴，仁慈，福音的喜樂，這反映出：基督的真光，始終臨在，祂始終尋找那迷失和被邊緣化的人。聖體聖事，天主聖言，成為這真光可見的標記 —— 恩典，共融和轉變的源泉。
